Maryland Web Designers Speaks at the Maryland Regional Aviation Conference

All Maryland airport managers, presidents, and directors were invited to attend the regional conference, which created an opportunity for aviation professionals, vendors, consultants, and public-sector leaders to exchange ideas and learn from one another.

Web Design and Internet Marketing for Maryland’s Aviation Community

Michael Berkman’s presentation focused on the fundamentals organizations needed to consider when establishing or improving their online presence. In 2006, a well-planned website was quickly becoming an essential way for airports, associations, consultants, and aviation businesses to communicate with the public, share important information, and market their capabilities.

Berkman had been providing enterprise-wide technology solutions domestically and internationally since 1993. In 1999, he combined technical knowledge, professional experience, and artistic ability to establish Maryland Web Designers Corporation, which was incorporated in 2001.

At the time of the conference, Maryland Web Designers provided graphic design, corporate identity development, website design, website hosting, search engine optimization, internet marketing, and database development. Although the technology has evolved significantly, the company’s guiding principle remains the same: “Your success is our success.”

About the Maryland Airport Managers Association

The Maryland Airport Managers Association, Inc. was established in September 1996. Its purpose was to provide a forum for exchanging ideas related to airport management, encourage legislation advantageous to airports, and work with the Maryland Aviation Administration and other aviation organizations to address and resolve airport issues. The association was incorporated as a nonprofit organization in 1999.
